When a boy named Sora loses his home, he understands he has to visit many worlds to restore peace to the universe.
When a mysterious door is unlocked, a storm of evil forces rain down on a small tropical island. Sora, a teenage young man, and his friends, are transported to another world, one that is dominated by darkness. A mysterious race of beings have invaded; they are known only as the Heartless: those without compassion. Sora is chosen as the master of the Keyblade, the only weapon with the power to vanquish the Heartless and their dark intentions. Meanwhile, an unknown high council of mysterious rulers have bound together to control the Heartless and gain forceful dictatorships over their people with violence and fear. Meeting up with two elite commanders from the Kingdom Castle (Donald and Goofy) who are on a mission from their missing king (Mickey Mouse), Sora seeks out his lost friends and combats the armies of evil to uncover the identity of the true master of the Heartless.
Kingdom Hearts is by far the best video game I've ever played. The graphics are amazing, and the characters really seem to come to life. The play is challenging, but not so hard that you wanna throw the controller at the screen. It's full of so much varied, and the game is very long. The storyline is also amazing. It would be a good idea for Disney to turn this into one of their CGI movies. Also, many celebrities guest as voices for the characters. The plot weaves in and out, and there is an emotional quality to it that most other games lack. Overall, I really enjoyed it, and I can't wait for Kingdom Hearts 2 to come out. This is by far my favorite game, and I suggest that if you love games or Disney to give it a try.
First of all i put the spoiler notice on just in case i put something in you might want to find out yourself. Firstly i started off with Kingdom Hearts 2 which was abit stupid i did understand it though since it showed flashbacks of the first one i thought it looked cool so i got it but i didn't play it much as i was too busy with Kh2 but I've been playing it for the past few weeks and all i need to say is WOW. 1: The storyline is just breathtaking. 2: The Voice acting is Great Espiecially(Mispelt) Haley Joel Osment (Artificial Intelligence) he is one of my favorite kid actors. 3: The Gameplay is the best of the Kingdom Hearts games just so cool the boss battles the side quests the Characters i was abit Suspicious about the Disney characters at first but now i love Disney again the Final Fantasy characters are cool as well. I haven't completed it yet but i have seen the ending movie lol i saw it on Kh2 but anyway im on the last boss he is challenging+another thing is if you want a challenging game Get Kingdom Hearts it will keep you going and going till you complete it but there are afew flaws and that is that the Camera is all over the place if you are fighting enemies in a tight situation try not to tilt the cam as it will go to the side and if you are in a place like Traverse Town(Kingdom Hearts World) all you can see is a big building lol and you cant see where the enimie is. And yet again its FRUSTRATING what i found most frustrating about this is it doesn't tell you where to go half the time like in Kh2 i could read the journal and it would tell me where to go or give me a hint on where to go but OVERALL buy this you wont regret it just be patient with and and don't smash up your Ps2 10/10.
